This blanket is knitted from wool from sheep at Rhijnestein in the color Marsepan. If you prefer a slightly lighter color, it is also available in Oatmeal. The kit contains 12 skeins. The pattern uses various authentic counted patterns found in fishermen's sweaters, creating a subtle texture in the knitting. The border is knitted with a pattern of small cables. The included pattern is in Dutch.

The blanket is knitted back and forth on circular needles (5 mm/120 cm, available separately).

The blanket measures 140 cm x 200 cm.

Schaapjeswol is our own brand. We collect the wool ourselves and have it spun. This keeps the lines short and allows us to know exactly where the wool comes from and where it has been before it ends up in our shop. All Schaapjeswol is hand-dyed, sometimes with plants, but also with environmentally friendly dyes.
